The breakfast was amazing and delicious with delicious Muffins and ham, as example, perfect to start our day. Helpful and amicable people were working here. The location was picturesque for Akaroa, so close to New Zealand and the local pub and less sightseeing. It also was by the hills overlooking the bay:)))
No complaints.

I had a delightful stay at a beautiful cottage nestled in a peaceful rural location, offering breathtaking views. The owners, Richard and Jane, were incredibly friendly and took the time to provide us with valuable information about the area. The cottage itself was well-appointed, featuring a cozy living room, a kitchenette for convenience, and a spacious bedroom with a comfortable bed on the upper floor. As a senior, I greatly appreciated the accessibility of the cottage and its surrounding areas, allowing me to enjoy the stunning landscapes at my own pace.
I couldn't find any faults during my stay. I would only suggest that the children working there ensure a more comfortable and enjoyable vacation experience for senior people to make it even better.

Our stay at Twin Gullies was absolutely wonderful. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warm hospitality and impeccable service. The attention to detail in the accommodation was remarkable, ensuring that every aspect of our stay was comfortable and enjoyable. The breakfast, with its stunning view of the bay, was a delightful start to each day. The location of the B&B allowed for a tranquil and peaceful getaway, away from the hustle and bustle of the town. We were also fortunate enough to go on a sailing tour organized by Richard, which was an incredible experience and a great value. we had an unforgettable stay and highly recommend Twin Gullies for anyone looking for a beautiful and relaxing retreat.

This place is absolutely amazing! The property is stunning and the hosts are incredibly friendly. They made us feel so welcome and went above and beyond to ensure we had a great time. The highlight for the kids was definitely the animals, they absolutely loved them. The room had a beautiful view, even though the weather wasn't great. The breakfast was delicious, especially the blueberry muffins. The hosts even arranged for our daughter to feed the sheep, which she adored. They were so accommodating when we had an issue with our room and immediately moved us to another available room. We had such a wonderful stay here and would highly recommend it. The heated pool was a hit with our little one too. Thank you for an incredible experience!

I absolutely adored the charming and cozy decor of the hotel. From the beautiful Moroccan-themed converted stables to the lovely garden with outside garden tables, everything was so tastefully done. As a senior woman, I found the general areas of the hotel to be very accessible and easy to navigate. The children working there were always helpful and attentive, ensuring that my stay was comfortable and enjoyable.
If I had to ask for one thing to make the vacation better for senior people, it would be to have more seating options with cushions and back support. Sometimes it can be a bit challenging for us to sit for long periods without proper comfort.

Adjacent to a quaint BBQ and Pizza oven area - perfect for a chef like me. The warm and friendly service made me feel right at home. Barn Two provided great dining experiences and The Stable was a unique detached building.
Oh, how I loved hiking nearby into my own experience. NOT!
